Bhakt maal
- an introduction
Bhakt maal
written by Nabha Goswami ji is a great bhakti sahitya which beautifully drives
us through the pathway of devotion. The stories of great devotees not only guide us and inpire us, but they
make our heart so full of the nector of pure love!
Nabha
ji was of the same period as Goswami Tulsidas ji and both Ramcharitmanas and
Bhakta-maal composed in the same period are great treasure of Indian
scriptures, but as we get the chance of listening to the 'Katha' of Ramayan and
Bhagawat, the katha on bhakt-maal had been popular among Vaishnav saints only.
Sri Jagannath Das Bhaktamaali and Sri Narayan Das Bhaktamaali (popularly called
'Mamaji') are among the few who had been giving public lectures on Bhakt maal.
In
present time, Sri Rajendra Das ji Maharaj of Maluk Peeth in Vrindavan has made
the common people know about Bhakt maal. His 'Katha' on Bhakt maal are becoming
as popular as Bhagwat. With my heart at his holy feet, I am trying to
compile some of his lectures and share them with the seekers all over the
world.
There are three sections. 'Bhakt maal PDF' has the Bhakt kathas related by Maharaj ji in great details in PDF format. You can download with a click on the title and read them.
The second section 'Bhakt maal audios' contain those stories which are short so you can hear them from Maharaj ji's own voice.
The third section 'Vertmaan Kaal ke bhakt" is the most charming in my opinion. Maharaj ji often tells the stories of the saints and Bhaktas he has already met. Listen to them and get inspired...
